Can't EFile

I got married In March 2017, My wife and I had a child in November 2017. I live in Illinois. We are filing jointly. We live in Illinois. Why can't I eFile?

From what you have stated there are no reasons why you couldn't Efile your federal, I am unfamiliar with whether the State of Illlinois allows Efile but would assume they do.

Illinois is on hold for everyone so that explains that side. Is there a hold on Federal eFiles?

Hello, 

No, the IRS is now open an accepting returns.  there may be some other type of diagnostic that is keeping the e-file option from appearing.  I suggest going back over the ending screens carefully and maybe you will find something that is holding he e-file option up.
