Managing my taxes througout 2013 - Self Employed

Hello,

I'm a newly self employed who wonders how can I manage my 2013 year and use H&R block at home to file quarterly taxes (tax estimates) etc.

 

First - will the Premium package online will be a good solution?

Second - I see that all the programs starts with filing my 2012 taxes (which I do anyway with H&R block office near my house) but I do want to start logging and use the tax software toward the first quarter payment of estimated tax).

 

What would be the best way to start for a self-employed in this 2013 tax year?

 

I will appreciate some guidance :-)

I spoke with one of our Client Service agents who has some experience with the digital product. He told me any of the software packages will calculate & print a 1040-ES Estimated Tax Voucher. The Premium package offers more help features for self-employed taxpayers. The online program is taken down for maintenance each November, so estimated taxes is not practical for that venue.

 

If you are currently filing through an HRB office and happy with the service you receive from your taxpreparer, you could inquire what year-round services they offer specifically for quarterly estimated taxes.
