Are health insurance premiums paid pre-tax deductible

Are health insurance premiums paid pre-tax deductible?  I pay for my health insurance through my employer who I believe deducts the premium pre-taxes.

No, because they've already been excluded from your income. That's what pre-tax means-- that they're subtracted from your total income to get the amount that will be reported as your taxable income.
