ePockets is a new budgeting feature that shelters money you need for a future expense, and helps ensure your planned amount is available when the time comes to pay. And best of all - we do not charge any fee for this service. To set up your first ePocket:
1. Sign into Emerald Online (hrblock.com/emeraldcard)
2. Navigate to the My ePockets widget
3. Click "Get Started"
4. Name the ePocket, select a cateogry, and an amount

You can create up to 20 ePockets to set aside funds instantly for monthly bills, major purchases, and emergencies. When funds are in an ePocket, they are not available for spending with your Emerald Card. This helps keep your budget on track until you transfer the money into your main spending account again.

So last night I attempted to transfer money from my emerald card into a newly established epocket account.During this process the website was spitting out error messages say the transaction was not complete. so i tried again. received another error message. now when i look on my account i see there are 3 transfers to an epocket account for the same amounts back to back which has resulted in my account being overdrawn. (being that its a prepaid card i find the fact that your system even allowed it to overdraw THAT much is seriously amazing) I have been on the phone with customer support for the past 3 hours i have utilized both my phones in an attempt to contact a manager. I HAVE BEEN UNABLE TO SPEAK WITH ONE SO FAR. I need someone to get on the horn and fix this. this is clearly an error on YOUR behalf YOUR system was not working properly which has resulted in a serious financial strain ON ME. i need a manager to actually pick up the phone. 3 times already have i been "transfered to a manager" and have waited and waited and waited until literally thee IVR system has either dropped my call or just sent me straight to the survey. this is absolutely ridiculous that i cant speak to someone in charge or that this has even happened. i need someone to contact me now to resolve this issue.

The same thing happened to me on 3/17. I made 2 deposits to my epockets and received an error each time. The money is not in the epockets and is not in my account balance. $150.00 just disappeared and no one in customer support seems to understand. You are right, this is absurd and should be a very easy fix. Confirm the epocket deposits, it's there, confirm the money is not in my epocket, it's not, return the money to my account or complete the deposits to my epockets, solved. Customer service is the worst I have ever dealt with. I hope you find a solution. I will update if they solve mine.
