I recieve the above error code after making it through the error checks without issue at the very last step before filing the state return. Now, I know I've look through each and every W-2 and everything matches perfectly to the forms. What's really going on here? I'm in Indiana, if that matters.

Not sure if this helps but this is because your state and county tax are the same total. Either Round one up or round one down so the totals are different. If state tax is 5.50 then make it 5.00

I am receiving this error too. I have tried to go and fix what the other user suggested with state and county tax, but I am still having the issue. Any other thoughts or information that anyone could provide would be appreciated.

Can someone tell me if this is the appropriate "fix"?
I have one w-2 where I worked as bouncer for one whole night. My state and local wages were a whopping $67.80. My state income tax was $5.00 (which is the amount I volunteered to pay extra on my W-4) and my local income was blank.
Then I get flagged for this 2 of 4 withholding/st wages amounts are the same error.
Based on the above solution, is it appropriate to list my state wages at $68 (rounding up) and my local at $67 (rounding down, albeit not really how you round down)? Thank you!
