Re: how do I import my investment information

  1. Open the tax return in question.
  2. Click Take Me To in the top right corner of the screen.
  3. Select the area for the 1099 in question:
    • For 1099-INT - Federal > Income > Your Income > Interest Income
    • For 1099-DIV - Federal > Income > Your Income > Dividends and Distributions
    • For 1099-B - Federal > Income > Investments > Sale of Stocks, Bonds, Mutual Funds, and Investment Property
    • For 1099-R - Federal > Income > Retirement and Rollovers > IRA and Pension Income
  4. After selecting one of the options above, click the Go To button.
  5. Click on Import 'XXXX' (where 'XXXX' is the type of 1099 being imported).

If the import process goes through without any errors, and there is still no data, please verify with your Financial Institution that you are using the correct log in credentials and that the information is available to import.
