Really Poor Customer Service

The Minnesota update that was uploaded on 8/23/18 has a major problem.  The MN state refunds are grossly overstated.  I was on the phone with H&R Block in the afternoon without any answers, they were not aware of the problem yet.  I know taxes so I knew what the problem was but I wasn't getting any help. Tonight I was on hold 2 times, waiting for a Tier 2 specialist.  Both times I held for 1 hour.  When I finally called back the 3rd time, I was told that the Tier 2 support staff was already gone.  They had transferred me to an empty office!  What makes it even more disappointing is that the hold message doesn't even tell you that the office is closed!  We are trying to do our taxes using this software, can't we just get the support we need?  I have been an H&R Block user for many years and this is super disappointing.

Re: Really Poor Customer Service

My HRblock tax guy contacted me right away after I wanted the Tax Pro Review and paid $160.00, he asked all the info that he needed, says everything was done and provided no link for me to review and approve my taxes so they could efile them!  He is not answering my calls, nor is he responding to my messages and I'm not on my 3rd customer service rep!!!  Ridiculous! I think I will go to Jackson Hewitt next year AS A WALK IN!

Re: Really Poor Customer Service

Me, too.  I've tried online and the phone where the computer told me to call the IRS then hung up on me.  I'm a long time user, but this really makes me rethink my loyalty to H&R Block.
