The software is crashing with any type of data import - W2, bank statements, etc. It crashes without saving which forces me to input all previous information manually again. Help? Just updated to latest Mac OS, High Sierra.

Same issue here, can't do anything. Spent hours on with technical support, and was told multiple times my issue had been escalated and that someone would call me with in 24-48 hours, no one has called me. After each 48 hrs I call back and they make me start from scratch as they seem to can't find the previous call notes even though the last two agents have confirmed to me that they have input notes. Their customer service is horrible. Hoping the 2/9 release will fix issue!

Me too ... The buggy software crashes in many areas:
1. On Sierra - crashes on file dialogs to open / search for last years return.
2. On Yosemite - I can get past open last years return and crashes while importing W2's (one imported and the second crashes the program for unknown reasons).
The most recent updates applied with no joy on these crashing issues .... The buggy software still crashes in the same file open and or import places.
H&R Block please get your development and support issues corrected so I can complete my taxes.

On High Sierra, I can import my 2016 return, but it consistently crashes if I try to import a W2. I tried a workaround from last year's thread, of running it on my MacBook screen instead of an attached monitor, but that did not help. The crash stack indicates it is a bug displaying a message.
Any response from H&R Block?

same here, I have had a ticket open with HR Block for 2 weeks.. they still can't figure out whats wrong. I keep getting told I will get call back within 48 hrs.. and the call never comes. I call them again, and told they are still trying to figure out.

anyone have a luck with this yet.. still have a ticket open with tech and haven't been called. back in over two weeks.. they keep telling me they are working on .. but how can they be working on without calling me?

As all of you know, the problem persists and HR customer support provides a different answer depending on who you talk to. The one that seemed most realistic was "the import function has been disabled for the time being. You can either wait for it to be enabled or input everything manually." It is across the board. I bought a physical copy and was provided a download replacement. Both have the problem.

I can't even do manually, when I try to save return, it crashes as well, so at this point, this software is completely useless and still no call back from HR technical support.... time to call again.... this time to get refund!

I feel everyone's pain. I convinced support to transfer my license to the Windows version. That's great for me, but what about those who don't have a Windows PC available? I was initially told by support that "you can enter your information manually". What a crock! I have zero confidence in the software on a Mac at this point.
