W2 FICA not carrying to Schedule SE

My wife has the maximum FICA tax on her W2 income.  She also has self employment income.  Schedule SE recognizes the $127,200 on line 8a, which is from the W2, but it is not carrying down to line 8d.  Therefore, she is getting an additional FICA tax calculated.  Line 8d says to add 8a, 8b, 8c, but it does not.  What am I doing wrong?

Re: W2 FICA not carrying to Schedule SE

Hello tgf,

Welcome to H&R Block Community.

Since you have already maxed out the FICA, this section will not auto-populate into lines 8b-10. This section would have populated if you had additional FICA tax owed. Line 12 is the total between line 10 and 11. Here your line 10 is $0 (although shown as blank on your forms).

I hope this helps you out!
