Like the title says, from the filing process and tax questions to tax policy and reform, you can search and share All Things Tax here. This is the place to find answers to all your general questions that don't fall under the other categories. And just a reminder: questions about software or online filing should be posted in DIY Products.

Welcome to the H&R Block community.
Since it is the tax filing season all you need to do is attach Form W-7 to your tax return in order to request an ITIN number. Enter "NRA" in the space on the return for the SSN/ITIN for the person for who you are applying for an ITIN number. Then, print and mail the return to the IRS. This is the only way you will be able to add the person who needs the ITIN to your tax return this year. You can still have someone who is a tax professional as well as an acceptance agent sign the Form W-7 if you would like.
You can find a list of CAA agents on the IRS website (click on the link below).

Are there any HR Block CAA's in 33172 or 33126 in Miami ?
I need to prepare my Tax returns and file a NEW ITIN for my wife ?
If CAA signs the ITIN COA, do we still need to visit LOCAL IRS or send original docs to IRS ?
Any help would be appreciated .
