I claim 0 during the year but at tax time how do I make that up??

There's nothing to make up.


When you claimed 0 dependents on the W-4 you gave your employer, you were just telling them to withhold income tax as if you had no dependents.  This means they probably withheld more than was necessary, but that's ok.  It will show up in box 2 of your W-2, and will be included in your refund.  You don't need to do anything else about it.
